High school drama… in another world.

Growing up on my father’s salvage yard, I got used to being picked on. Back in junior high, all the rich snobs from the south side of town called me Trash instead of Ash. But I endured, and by my senior year there was really only one jerk who still called me that.

You’d think that when part of my senior class is magically transported to another world that we’d all be on even footing. But no, it seems some cosmic force is just out to get me, even here. All my friends are assigned cool, high-rank adventuring classes like Grand Geomancer or Knight Lord, but I end up getting the F-ranked class Scavenger. To make matters worse, all my classmates are offered positions of honor in the posh part of town, and I get kicked out to make my way on my own in the slums.

Well, I refuse to just take some menial job to survive until we can go home. I’ll go into the dungeon on my own if I have to. No way am I going to stay at the bottom. Besides, who’s to say the claims my classmates’ rich and powerful benefactor made are even true. Maybe I’m the lucky one. At least I have my independence.
